FROM Samson, go West on Hwy 52 to Hwy 153, then left (South) 7 1/2 miles. Entrance on left. FROM DeFuniak Springs FL, go North on Hwy 83 to Alabama Line (changes to Al 153). Park is 1 1/2 miles past the state line, on the right.

What we know as the “Wiregrass” was at one time the Indian reservation of the Lower Creek Indians.
