38 miles (60KM) south of Prince George and 38 miles (60KM) north of Quesnek. Located in Central British Columbia, in the village of Hixon on the East side of Hwy 97. (The main western route from the lower US to Alaska.) |

We are located near the geographic center of BC, in the wee village of Hixon, on BC highway 97, a day's drive from Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Calgary or Edmonton. (well, some days are longer than others) Hixon has a rich heritage in placer gold mining, activities related to forestry and is on the highway to anywhere you are going. Yes you can get there from here! Prince George and Quesnel are 45 minutes north and south of us; in metric language that is about 60 KM either way, but if you are metric illiterate that is just under 38 miles either way on a good highway. |
