Nestled on the shores of beautiful Gantt Lake, our park is perfect for fishermen and women. Large-mouth bass can be taken around the grass beds and cypress trees that are found in the numerous sloughs and coves off the main lake. Shellcrackers can be taken on sandy beaches, point and flats. Steep walls along the old river channel can be the most productive for crappie. Our general store offers a variety of live bait as well as poles, reels, and hooks. Boaters and water sport fans can enjoy skiing, tubing, swimming, kayaking, or simply boating around the lake. Check out our boat rental and trips page for more information about renting one of our boats or making a trip down the Conecuh River. Spacious level tent sites are available for our tent camping guests. Each site includes a fire ring, so you can gather around the campfire and tell ghost stories or roast smores. Tent sites come with a picnic table, so you can conveniently sit down to eat. Each site has access to our modern, clean restrooms and showers. The resort has its own boat launch ramp with docks are located on each side of the ramp. A gas pump with non-ethanol gas is conveniently located on one of the docks, so you can refuel your vessel without taking it out of the water or having to carry heavy gas tanks to and from it. The other dock features a covered fish cleaning area complete with sinks, faucets, and electrical outlets. |
