FROM I-30 Eastbound EX126 to I-30 Frontage Rd. for .6 mi to R on Vimy Ridge Rd. at T & go 3.3 mi. to 3rd 4-way stop. Turn R on Germania Rd for .8 mi. Turn R on Arlan Rd. Enter gate code & drive by lake & bear L onto Pam. Follow signs to office. FROM I-30 Westbound EX128 Mablevale/Otter Creek Rd. Merge on I-30 Frontage Rd, go .7 mi. After overpass, turn R on Vimy Ridge Rd (signs for Shannon Hills) go 3.7 mi to 3rd 4-way stop. Turn R on Germania, go .8 mi. Cherokee Lakes RV Park opened in 2011. 170 acre wildlife habitat. Quiet and peaceful setting, which is safe, clean and gated with lots of nature and wildlife. Globe park security street lighting provides ample light for a midnight stroll around the lake. The park is planted with fruit and nut trees, crepe myrtles, banana trees providing forage and seeds for the numerous species of songbirds, squirrels and wildlife easily seen in the refuge. |
